Tilly-Mae's displays of increased confidence and hard work gives her the trophy this month

A huge congratulations to Tilly-Mae Allison for winning the Linslade Galaxy FC Player of the month award for October! Tilly plays for our U12 Jaguars girls team.

Office Manager, Lisa Mackay, from Gartec, the trophy sponsor, and who chose the winner out of the team players of the month, said, "Having had a good read through, I would like to nominate Tilly – I liked how this player has seemed to have gained confidence, and works very hard"

Tilly was put forward for the award by her team coaches for the following reasons:

"It’s never easy joining a new club, but Tilly has taken to the Jags like a duck to water. She has integrated seamlessly putting the effort in training both in terms of football but also socially. A strong and powerful striker - Tilly works hard in training and the Jaguars are reaping the results in matches, with Tilly getting a hatful of goals and assists throughout October. Her constant effort and work rate sets her up for success and long may this continue. Well done Tilly!"

There were plenty of other excellent performances in matches and training across the Club throughout October and these are recognised by many of the coaches, who put forward these players as their team's player of the month.

Clara Beckett (U8 Meerkats)
"Clara has established herself as a key part of the Meerkat goalkeeping department, showing excellent application of her training and match experience to become a reliable pair of hands in goal - making a number of great saves and distributing to set us on the attack. This has really started to reflect in more competitive matches against established opponents. Clara shows a real affection for being a Meerkat, a popular member with her team mates, and setting a great example to other girls that work through initial confidence dips. We have no doubt Clara will keep developing and make even better saves in future months."

Jack Blackler (U9 Atletico)
"In matches Jack has been involved in nearly every goal we score, and he also comes back to help in defence too. He is not afraid to take players on even if they are bigger than him. He is not afraid to have a go. He doesn’t let his head drop if it’s not quite working. He will go again. In training, we have been really impressed with his ability to retain the ball in small spaces. His passing and moving, and overall understanding of the requirement, has been really impressive. Keep it up please."

Sienna Gadsby (U9 Leopards)
"Sienna has been a Leopard since the very beginning, and coaches have always loved her sense of humour and the level of fun she brings to sessions. Recently though Sienna has also brought a level of focus to her sessions which has seen her show herself to a supportive teammates and a real team player. She is also becoming a fantastic defender and is going to be an important part of the team as Leopards aim to enter their first ever league in January."

Darcey Anderson (U10 Bobcats)
"Darcey has been playing in different positions this month around the pitch and thrived in all of them. She is constantly displaying her ability to dribble from deep, while also setting an example of when to look for a pass or when to take on the shot herself, grabbing herself a few goals in the process."

Samuel Jeeves (U10 Juve)
"Samuel is a real force to be reckoned with it's not unusual for him to be attacking at one end then running back and making a goal saving challenge at the other end, he is the perfect box to box midfielder covering every blade of grass, he is a bundle of energy sometimes feeling the need to beat a player 4 times just to make sure, he is starting to become a real team player and the more he learns to trust and use his teammates around him the better he will get, he has chipped in with plenty of goals this season and is really important to how we play. Well done Sam - keep up the great work."

James Lewis (U10 Milan)
"James’ incredible performances in goal for Milan, Outstanding saves and voice of support during the matches mean he fully deserves this month’s award. James is always giving his teammates encouragement and putting himself in positions to provide an option for a pass should the defenders come under pressure. James loves making vital saves for his team. His confidence to pull off saves and his love for football shines through. While James has so many outstanding moments in goal for Milan, a standout save saw James alert, run out from the goal line to make a great save from a striker finding himself one on one with him and through on goal. James, his teammates and the watching parents all cheered. What a save! Well done James on these great performances in goal and great attitude week in week out."

Max Forsythe (U10 Roma)
"Max Forsythe, Roma's amazing goalkeeper is our player of the month. What a month of consistent performances for Max who has a great attitude week in, week out. He is a voice of support to his teammates and shows great alertness to rush out from his goal line to make important saves for Roma. Max is not afraid to stop players scoring and blocking shots. He has been on the wrong end of a few challenges after making vital saves, but despite walking away with some clear war wounds he's always got back up and continued for his team. Max is determined to do his best, put everything into training and challenge himself. Max has been outstanding in goal and has been called upon frequently. Two shots destined for the top right corner saw max dive and save both with a strong left hand. What a save and what amazing performances in goal. Well done Max."

Jacob West (U11 Barca)
"Since joining the team this season Jacob has slotted in well and has played really well in several positions from up front to defence, including getting on the score sheet, with this in mind we feel it is only right that Jacob is named player of the month for October - well done and keep up the good work!"

Florence Crouch (U11 Lionesses)
"Florence has been immense at the heart of the teams’ defence. Florence is also our team captain, we have recently had a new player come and train with the Lionesses and she took her under her wing and made her feel so welcome and part of the team. Well done Florence keep up your hard work."

Rosie-Anne Jefferd (U11 Panthers)
"I have picked Rosie as player of the month after a series of outstanding performances, following last seasons top scorer mantle with over 40 goals scored it took a couple of weeks to find her scoring boots this season but she is now on 9 goals in the last 4 games! Rosie has varied her positions a little more this season ranging from up top to right and left midfield and has always played with grit and determination with the desire to score at the forefront. Following her hat trick at the weekend she even put in a shift in defence as the whole team shuffled positions defending like a pro stopping a couple of attacks in their infancy to put us back on the front foot. Well done Rosie, keep up the hard work."

Olivia Moules (U12 Lions)
"At first glance, if you were to associate a colour with Olivia, it would be canary yellow. Olivia is a huge Norwich City fan and she is easy to spot in her yellow Norwich shirt and hairband, and her huge smile. Increasingly, though, her coaches are referring to her as mustard. Playing up a year and as one of the shorter and cheerier players on our team, you could be forgiven for thinking Olivia would struggle with playing some of the more physical teams in the league. But Olivia is fearless, not ducking out of tackles, even after taking several blows. Olivia has also always had searing pace that could strike fear in to any defender, but recently she has combined this speed with intelligent movement, and rapidly improving ball control, passing, and finishing. All this means that Olivia has picked up several goals and assists over the last few games, making her even more popular amongst her teammates.".

Freddie Tozer (U12 Porto)
"Fred works tirelessly as full back for the team, whether that's on the left or the right. He has been a solid performer this month, putting in good displays each week to help the team in defence and attack. He has been defending well and working hard, making good tackles and connections."

Addison Linnane (U13 Lynxes)
"Addison has had a great start to the season. Playing at left or right back she has faced some tough opponents but her resilience and determination to get a tackle in often sees her coming away with the ball. Addison shows no fear getting her body on the line to block shots or getting stuck in to win the ball back for her team. She is one of the teams biggest cheerleaders always encouraging and making herself heard, she has a wonderful team spirit. Well done Addison, a worthy player of the month."

Bella Ellaway (U13 Pumas)
"Pumas have only had 2 matches in the month and Bella only played in one of these. However her hard work, determination to win and strong battling against some bigger physical girls helped pumas defeat local rivals Leighton United in a game that could of been lost. Fast forward to the next week, away at Luton and without Bella due to sickness the Pumas narrowly lost out 1-0. I strongly believe that with what Bella brings to each match that the score line would have favoured the Pumas if she was there."

Adam Burnett (U14 Lazio)
"Adam's had a great start to the season, showing that he's our Mr Versatile, who can comfortably play anywhere in midfield or at full back. Although mainly playing in midfield through September a switch to right back for October saw Adam continue his good form, in particular picking up player of the match in one of our games with a strong defensive display. What's been most impressive is Adam's attitude and willingness to play wherever the team needs him, something that's invaluable to the squad. Well played Adam, keep up the hard work."

Luke Wollard (U14 Spartak)
"We are excited to recognise Luke Woollard as our Player of the Month. With an impressive tally of six goals, including a stunning hat trick, he has showcased exceptional finishing while his determination and teamwork have been instrumental in Spartak's performances this month. Luke seems to be enjoying his new position at the top of a midfield diamond and we are starting to see what Luke can offer in his more attacking role. Luke's fantastic performances culminated in a hat trick against current league leaders & county cup holders in an all round faultless performance. Well done Luke."

Charlie Bartram Vassey (U14 Sporting)
"Charlie's had a superb start to the season in division 2. A versatile player who's comfortable with both feet has always made him an obvious choice to move across the back line or either wing when needed. He's spent most of this season playing as a left footed right back and has benefitted from a prolonged spell in defence. His effort and attitude has been good at both training and in games and he put in Man of the Match performances in both of Sporting's league games for October."

Benaiah Mandiopera (U15 Ajax)
"Benaiah (our resident Ajax joker) is always the life and soul of the squad and has made one of the central midfield roles his own this season with a string of outstanding performances. The only thing missing from his game was goals. However, that wait came to an end in our victory against Stony Stratford. We won a free kick, fully 35yds out, surely too far out to shoot?? Not for Benaiah, who stepped up and rifled it into the top corner and set off some wild celebrations. Having never scored before, his celebrations defo need some practice! Benaiah either scored or assisted in all of our October games! Well done mate.".

Well done to all the nominated team player of the months - keep up the great work!
