It’s on Astro turf today and the parents are watching from behind bars. May not be the first time for a few. This will impact the quality of the video so greater attention will be needed to be given to the music, which is needed from last weeks post.

Some gloves are being worn by a few and Shay is trying to play in his tracksuit, no luck. We kick off with Henry in goal, Daisy and Alfie in defence. Ewan and Theo in the middle, Deven and Shay on the wing and Zach starting upfront for the first time.

Hurricanes start on the offensive and it takes a while for us to get our first chance with Zach crossing for Deven who almost puts it in. Zach goes close himself, collecting the ball from the corner, super strike.Some great passing by Wanderes and a neat little back heel from Theo puts us on the attack. The ball is crossed into the box by Deven which is intercepted, but Ewan follows up and fires the ball into the net.

It’s quarters for this game, giving Albi, Miles, Luca and Fred a chance to join the action and warm themselves up.Hurricanes score quickly to make things level. That’s a shame.Luca and Fred are looking strong in defence, carrying on from last weeks excellent performances. Miles is getting some space up the wing and Zach and Albi are looking threatening.

Albi kick us off the third period. Shay and Deven are showing some good footwork in the middle but we’re yet to create a clear chance. Albi is putting his body on the line, taking a heavy knock whilst competing for the ball. Hurricanes grab themselves a goal which did feel like it was coming.An unbelievable double save from Henry keeps us in the game. I’m hoping Steve got that on camera. Henry again pulls off another world class save as we remain under pressure.

We head into the final quarter and Deven and Shay link up well, giving Deven chance to smash the ball past the Hurricanes keeper. Almost immediately, Henry is called into action again and it’s end to end stuff with both teams chasing a victory. Deven is racing up the wing again, putting the ball in the box for Theo who manages to force the ball over the line. Miles and Zach are working hard in the middle to maintain our lead and Ewan is put back on the pitch to try to help hold our advantage. It’s a tense last few minutes with both teams going close to scoring.

Henry is having a blinder, winning a 1 on 1 battle with only seconds remaining. A great game that could have gone either way. As the parents gather with the players and POTM was Henry and much deserved. Parents player this week goes to Zach. Well done Galaxy, it was a great game to watch.
