Porto were left to regret missed chances in this local derby, but it wasn't through lack of trying. Two goals towards the end of both halves proved costly, after a great move and finish for Porto's opener.

The team were determined and the scoreline didn't reflect the good play from the home side who dominated for long periods and battled hard. Unfortunately, they just didn't take their chances. The goal was impressive, finished neatly by Aiden after a nice ball from Callum, which was laid off well by Jack. They played some great stuff on the long grass, which deserved more, and it felt like the team had their spark back, with impressive performances throughout the side.

Player of the match was Fred who defended well, throwing himself into challenges and playing great balls down the line.

It was another tough one to take, but the football they played today showed a side who have what it takes. If they stay positive the results will come.
