Porto fought back from two goals down to draw with Stoke Hammond at Cedars. They will be left frustrated by a slow start which saw them gift the away side two goals in the first five minutes.

The good thing was Porto responded almost instantly to half the deficit when a throw into the box was calmly finished by Callum. As the game progressed, they grew in the game, and it wasn't for lack of trying, they just couldn't turn possession into clear opportunities.

It looked like being a day of frustration until Tom stabbed home in the box to equalise, giving Porto a fully deserved point. They continued to work hard defensively, an example was an important stop in the second half from Nathan.

As player of the match, Fred worked tirelessly as full back, defending well.

Porto battled well and showed courage to get back into the game, especially with no subs available. They just needed a bit more calmness on the ball.

An important lesson from today will be to start strongly.
