Linslade took on a strong Tingewick side this weekend and more than matched their opponents.

It was a silent match for parents and supporters, the game was played in great spirits between both sides with lots of good play on show.

Linslade were very resilient throughout the match, the players communicating was good and other than a couple of moments from kick ins and set pieces, Linslade were organised positionally and looked a good defensive unit from the front to back.

Going forward Linslade had some great passages of play, going forward as a team and constantly looking to try to do the right things, with the player on the ball always looking up and teammates aiming to call for the ball and run into space.

It was great to see and hear the Linslade players organising and trying to help one another during the game, and the effort and attitude couldn’t be faulted.

Linslade are improving as every game week goes by and should no doubt take confidence from how they performed as a team today
