Quarter 1
Really evenly matched game. It was a half of few chances. Sometimes we’ve been slow to get going in matches but this time that wasn’t the case, the energy and battling was there from the start. Both teams defensively were on top.

Quarter 2
The 2nd quarter started with Jamie making 2 excellent stops from long distance. Up the other end some nice play from Linslade got us into some great positions on 3 or 4 occasions but they couldn’t quite finish the chances. Again the Linslade defence were solid, helped by the midfield and forwards working so hard in front of them.

Quarter 3
The game started to get a bit more stretched in this quarter. Linslade continued to attack and were so unlucky as Harry struck a great effort against the bar. Hanslope continued to push but Jamie came out to make a superb 1on1 save, and within moments Linslade broke again, James struck the post following another good move from Linslade. Linslade saw the quarter out well.

Quarter 4
Linslade started battling even more. Hanslope however weren’t giving up either. The game turned a little chaotic, it was real end to end stuff

Overall, it was a brilliant game and the Linslade players were fantastic, there was so much effort from all the players and a real togetherness and team ethic shown.
