Despite the relatively mild weather, Barca were were a bit cold, and were slow to get going in the first half, coming up against a lively Woburn side who showed some good attacking play and clinical finishing.

One of the Woburn players had a throw in that Rory Delap would have been proud of! This caused Barca a few problems throughout the game as the booming throw in missed out our midfield with consistency and accuracy.

Barca were much better in the second half of the game, and were arguably the better team in the third quarter, with much more of the play taking place in the Woburn half of the pitch.

Coaches James and Rich were pleased with the Barca response in the second half, and every player tried their hardest to pull Barca back into the match and walk off the pitch with the heads held high.

Barca's Gartec Player of the Match - chosen by the Barca spectators/supporters - was Rudy. Rudy put in a real battling display, winning the ball back for Barca on a number of occasions and then using the ball wisely to try and get Barca on the front foot. Well done Rudy and well done Barca!
