In a thrilling, muddy and closely fought contest, it was Barca who scored first, an OG by Shenley from a good near post corner by Barca. Shenley got one back before half time, but Olly scored for Barca with a thumping finish after the half time break.

Shenley were always in the contest however, and they managed to score in the second period of the game. As the match became stretched in the final 10 mins, both teams created chances in what was an end-to-end, heart in mouth finish to the contest. Heidi nearly got her big toe on a last-minute cross from the right, but alas the ball slipped by and the final whistle blew.

Every Barca player put in a great shift today, but it was Leo who came away with the Gartec PoM award. Leo was up and down the right wing like a man (boy) possessed, and really tried to deliver quality balls into the opposition box - something that coach James had discussed with Leo before the match.
