Well, we are nearly at the end of another challenging year but I am happy to say that despite after all the obstacles thrown at us over the last couple of years that we continue to grow as a family club and provide football activities for the local community.

In spite of Covid and all the restrictions it brings the club has continued to grow and at the beginning of the season we welcomed Under 8 Bayern to the club as well as our very own Wild Cats girls section. Wild Cats in particular has been a fantastic success story starting from ground zero we now have over 25 registered players, 2 teams and a committed coaching team. Well done to all involved with the Wild Cats programme.

2021 saw the club move into their new home ground at Cedars and Linslade School and all the teams have been enjoying all the facilities that these venues provide. On the pitch the Galaxy teams continue to play in the right spirit and a number of our competitive teams are currently challenging at the topic of their league tables. All of the above could not be achieved without the dedicated and hardworking club officers who put in lots of hours of their own spare time to make sure the club runs smoothly for this I would like to thank Phillip Stanley, Simon Wood, Dave Oatley, Robin Osborn and Adam Peters; keep up the good work guys !

2022 I am sure will bring new challenges for the club but I am sure it will be an exciting year for all the children and all that are involved with the Galaxy Family. In January we will be welcoming 3 new teams to Galaxy, Under 7 Wanderers, Under 7 Barca and Under 11 Borussia. We would like to wish all of these teams good luck and I am sure all of the kids will enjoy their football journey with Linslade Galaxy.

Currently we have some exciting new ventures planned for the new year with our MK Dons coaching programme, Summer Tournament, new Wild Cats girls teams and our end of season club presentation to look forward.

That just leaves me to say thanks to all the parents, coaches, players and volunteers for making it a fantastic year and I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
